ICAO Council: Diplomatic proceedings between Qatar and GCC states formally ended

ICAO Council announced (22-Mar-2021) the formal suspension of diplomatic proceedings regarding the dispute between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Bahrain, at the request of the states concerned and as a consequence of the Al Ula Declaration. As previously reported, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Bahrain agreed in Jan-2021 to restore diplomatic ties and transport links with Qatar, following a period of around three and a half years.
