IATA estimates impact of COVID-19 in Latin America's major markets
IATA regional VP Americas Peter Cerda outlined (01-Apr-2020) the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Latin American countries as follows:

- Jobs at risk: 62,000 (223,000 indirect);
- Mexico:
- Revenue loss: USD5.3 billion;

- Argentina:
- Revenue loss: USD2.4 billion;
- GDP risk: USD1.2 billion;

- Colombia:
