IAG pax up 1.4% in Mar-2012, cargo traffic down 2.9%, premium traffic growth of 6.7%
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (04-Apr-2012) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Mar-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 4.2 million, +1.4% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 907,000, -8.8%;
- Europe: 1.8 million, +1.6%;
- North America: 674,000, +15%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 394,000, +0.8%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 366,000, +7.6%;
- Asia Pacific: 125,000, stable;
- Passenger load factor: 78.8%, +3.8 ppts;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 74.8%, +4.8 ppts;
- Europe: 72%, +2.7 ppts;
- North America: 81.8%, +5.3 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 83%, +1.0 ppts;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 74.3%, +3.9 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 80.7%, +5.1 ppts;
