IAG pax numbers up 9% in Sep-2012, premium traffic up 8%
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (03-Oct-2012) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Sep-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 5.1 million, +8.7% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 1.2 million, +23.1%;
- Europe: 2.2 million, +3.7%;
- North America: 782,000, +7%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 398,000, -1.5%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 410,000, +19.2%;
- Asia Pacific: 140,000, stable;
- Passenger load factor: 84%, +1.2 ppts;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 76.1%, -0.1 ppt;
- Europe: 81.8%, -0.1 ppt;
- North America: 86.2%, +1.3 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 86.3%, +2.8 ppts;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 79.9%, +2.1 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 86.6%, +0.5 ppt;
