Heathrow Airport reports 1% rise in Nov-2009 pax numbers

UK's BAA reports (10-Dec-09) the following traffic highlights in Nov-2009:

• Passenger Numbers: 9.9 million, +0.8% year-on-year;
  • London Heathrow: 5.0 million, +1.1%;
  • London Gatwick: 2.1 million, +4.5%;
  • London Stansted: 1.3 million, -2.7%;
• Cargo volume: 151,784 tonnes, +6.2%;
  • Heathrow: 123,439 tonnes, +4.9%;
  • Gatwick: 8,017 tonnes, +5.2%;
  • Stansted: 17,745 tonnes, +7.3%;
• Aircraft movements: 89,533, -1.4%;
  • Heathrow: 37,045, -1.8%;
  • Gatwick: 17,090, +4.8%;
  • Stansted: 11,104, -2.4%.
