Growth in Asia 'very important for us' but doesn't mean other markets are irrelevant: Qantas

Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (05-Aug-2016) while the rise of Asia "is very important for us, it doesn't mean other markets are irrelevant." Mr Joyce noted the carrier is "bigger in North America than we've ever been," and similarly in Europe with its Emirates Airline partnership which has "quadrupled the amount of traffic" booked into the region.
