Gol to commence regular services to US

Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes SA received (01-Mar-2012) approval this month from ANAC to operate 14 flights a week to the US and has a period of 180 days from 17-Feb-2012 to request the routes it wants to operate. Gol currently operates international routes only to Latin America and the Caribbean. The company still needs to carry out further studies and seek authorisation from local authorities before confirming route details.
