Germanwings to increase fleet in 2010

Germanwings announced plans to add four new A319s to its fleet, for a total of 30 aircraft (aero.de, 05-Jan-2010). The airline is planning to expand its capacity in 2010, due to rising business traffic. It expects to handle more than 8 million passengers in 2010. Germanwings handled 6.65 million in the first 11 months of 2009. It also plans to focus on more corporation with the travel industry. The LCC has already entered a booking cooporation agreement with Lufthansa's bmi.
