GAMECO launches new Boeing 737-800BCF programme in Guangzhou

Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company (GAMECO) launched (16-Jun-2020) a new Boeing 737-800BCF programme at its base in Guangzhou. GAMECO and Boeing launched work on the production line in 2019 and will collaborate to convert used 737s into freighters to meet growing demand. According to the most recent Boeing commercial market outlook, 2820 freighters will enter the global fleet over the next 20 years to meet market demand, including 1220 narrowbody passenger to freighter conversions.
