ELFAA airlines reports a 9% increase in 2009 pax

European Low Fares Airline Association (ELFAA) reports (02-Mar-2010) the following traffic highlights for its member airlines for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009:

  • Passenger numbers: 162.5 million, +8.7% year-on-year;
  • Load factor: 82.0%, n/a;
    • Ryanair: 82.0%;
    • easyJet: 86.0%;
    • Norwegian: 78.0%;
    • Vueling: 72.8%;
    • Wizz Air: 83.4%;
    • Flybe: n/a;
    • Transavia.com: 77.0%;
    • Jet2.com: 80.3%;
    • bmibaby: 67.2%;
    • SkyEurope^: 73.4%;
    • Blue Air: 81.0%;
    • Myair*: 70.7%;
