European Low Fares Airline Association (ELFAA) reports (02-Mar-2010) the following traffic highlights for its member airlines for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009:

• Passenger numbers: 162.5 million, +8.7% year-on-year;
  • Ryanair: 65.3 million, n/a;
  • easyJet: 46.1 million;
  • Norwegian: 10.8 million;
  • Vueling: 8.2 million;
  • Wizz Air: 7.8 million;
  • Flybe: 7.3 million;
  • Transavia.com: 5.2 million;
  • Jet2.com: 3.3 million;
  • bmibaby: 2.9 million;
  • SkyEurope^: 2.4 million;
  • Blue Air: 1.7 million;
  • Myair*: 900,000;
  • Sverigeflyg: 600,000;
• Load factor: 82.0%, n/a;
  • Ryanair: 82.0%;
  • easyJet: 86.0%;
  • Norwegian: 78.0%;
  • Vueling: 72.8%;
  • Wizz Air: 83.4%;
