Eastar Jet to receive 737 MAX 8 by end of 2018

Eastar Jet president and CEO Jong Gu Choi, speaking at the CAPA LCCs in North Asia Summit, stated (11-Jun-2018) Eastar Jet will take delivery of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft by the end of 2018. Mr Choi said the LCC aims to use to aircraft to launch services to Singapore, Jakarta and destinations in Central Asia, particularly Uzbekistan. He added that Eastar Jet hopes South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will make efforts towards establishing open skies with these markets.
