Uzbekistan in central Asia is a land-locked country and is one of the Turkic states. The country’s state-owned airline, Uzbekistan Airways, operates most services in the country, although Ural Airlines and Aeroflot also operate. Its main airport hub is Tashkent International Airport, followed by Bukhara International Airport, Navoi International Airport and Samarkand International Airport. The Civil Aviation Administration of Uzbekistan is the authority responsible for regulating the industry as well as providing air navigation services.
