Deutsche Lufthansa CEO: The aviation industry has to prepare for a difficult 2H2016

Deutsche Lufthansa AG CEO and chairman Carsten Spohr stated (02-Aug-2016) the aviation industry has to prepare for a difficult 2H2016. The forward bookings, in particular for our long-haul services to Europe have declined significantly" noting high pricing pressures are expected to continue for the remainder of the year. In view of this, Lufthansa expects to report an adjusted EBIT for the full year which is below the previous year's. This is why we will push on our efficiency increases even more consistently.
