COVID-19 lockdowns will 'significantly impact' consumer behaviour, business travel: AF-KLM CEO

Air France-KLM CEO Benjamin Smith, speaking during the company's AGM, said (26-May-2020) COVID-19 lockdowns will "significantly impact" consumer behaviour. He argued as work from home and video conferencing replacing business travel becomes more entrenched, the airline industry's recovery path will be more impacted, particularly if businesses continue to restrict travel for cost and health reasons.
