Cebu Pacific pax numbers up 8% to 7.5 million in 1H2013, 85% load factor

Cebu Pacific reports (15-Jul-2013) the following traffic highlights for the six months ended Jun-2013:

• Passenger numbers: 7.5 million, +8% year-on-year;
• • International: +9%;
  • Domestic: +7.5%;

The carrier achieved notable 1H2013 passenger growth in several international tourism and trade markets, such as Cambodia, Indonesia, South Korea, and Brunei, contributing to foreign tourist arrivals in the country. In the Philippines for the same period, 41% more passengers flew with the carrier within Mindanao, while passengers to/from Kalibo, Iloilo, Bacolod and Cebu increased significantly.
