CAPA India estimates Indian airlines will require combined fleet of 400-450 aircraft from Oct-2020

CAPA India estimated (06-Apr-2020) India's airlines will require a combined fleet of approximately 400 to 450 aircraft from Oct-2020 onwards, comprising a domestic fleet of 300 to 325 aircraft and an international fleet of 100 to 125 aircraft, due to the ongoing impact of coronavirus. The consultancy noted India's airlines have a combined fleet of 650 aircraft at present, resulting in approximately 200 to 250 surplus aircraft for a period of six to 12 months. [more - original PR]
