Transport Canada previously expanded Canada’s air transport agreement with Nigeria, enabling direct services for the first time, with 14 weekly passenger and 10 weekly all-cargo frequencies per country plus fifth freedom all-cargo rights; Air Canada said it intended to launch Lagos service in 2027, subject to approvals and processes.1 Canada also expanded agreements with Vietnam and Tunisia, again allowing “access to all points” and setting capacity limits including all-cargo rights.2 3
