Brussels Airlines to reduce workforce by 25% and remove 16 aircraft from fleet
Brussels Airlines announced (12-May-2020) details of its turnaround plan to reduce costs and maintain operations despite the impact of coronavirus on air travel demand. The airline plans to reduce its workforce by 25%, reduce its fleet from 54 to 38 aircraft and suspend services on unprofitable and marginally profitable routes.
