Brazil ABEAR says Brazilian carriers see 'stable expansion' in Sep-2013
Brazil's Brazilian Association of Airlines announced (17-Oct-2013) its four member carriers together recorded "a stable pace of expansion" in Sep-2013. ABEAR reported the following Sep-2013 figures:
- Domestic:

- Passengers: 6.47 million;
- ASKs: 9.3 billion, -5% month-on-month;
- RPKs: 7.1 billion, -1% month-on-month;

- TAM Airlines: 2.9 billion;
- Gol: 2.6 billion,
- Azul/TRIP Linhas Aereas: 1.2 billion;
- Avianca Brazil: 0.5 billion;
- Load factor: 77.4%, +3.1% month-on-month;
- International:
ABEAR president Eduardo Sanovicz commented, "These numbers are within the expected [range] and reflect both the process of adjustment of supply, initiated by airlines in 2012 and strengthened in 2013 as a way of coping with rising operating costs."
