EASA executive director Florian Guillermet said validating the Boeing 737 MAX 10 was a priority, with “very good progress” on closing the last actions and few remaining hurdles.1 Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg said MAX seven and MAX 10 certification entered final stages, with full FAA authority for the flight test regime and an expectation of certification by year end, enabling 2027 deliveries.2 Boeing also reported in 1Q2026 that MAX 10 entered TIA 2 and the 777-9 entered TIA 4a, with first 777-9 delivery still targeted for 2027.3
