BAA granted permission to lobby UK Government on third Heathrow runway

UK Transport Minister Theresa Villiers reportedly granted approval to BAA to utilise a consultation on the UK's future status as a global aviation hub to lobby the Government for the construction of a third runway at London Heathrow Airport (govtoday.co.uk, 22-May-2012). According to the Transport Minister, "if BAA want to come along and argue for a different approach" then the Government will "consider their representations and the evidence that they submit".
