Azerbaijan Airlines appoints new CEO

Azerbaijan Airlines Group, via its official Telegram account, announced (14-Sep-2026) the appointment of Mario Chaves as Azerbaijan Airlines CEO. Mr Chaves previously held senior management positions at airlines including TAP Air Portugal, Portugalia, Grupo SATA, and Cabo Verde Airlines.
