AVIC forecasts China's fleet will reach 6309 by 2031

Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) estimates China's civil aviation aircraft will reach 6309 aircraft by 2031 including 5545 passenger aircraft and 764 cargo aircraft. The aerospace company, as reported by Carnoc.com, forecasts China will require 4933 aircraft over the next 20 years including 4041 large aircraft and 892 regional aircraft. AVIC also forecasts air passenger traffic in China will increase at a rate of 8% p/a while air cargo traffic will increase at a rate of 9.5% p/a over the next 20 years.
