Australian Department of Infrastructure: Some industry elements 'a concern to us'

Australian Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development GM aviation industry policy Stephen Borthwick, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (06-Aug-2014) that in relation to Australia's negotiations on bilateral air services agreements, "where the LCCs have been successful at stimulating the market has led to increased requests for capacity." Mr Borthwick added: "The long term sustainability of some of the industry elements is a concern to us."
