Asia Pacific airports pax up 8%, Middle Eastern airports up 12% in Dec-2015

ACI Asia Pacific reported (24-Feb-2016) passenger traffic at Asia Pacific airports increased 8% year-on-year while passenger traffic at Middle Eastern airports increased 12% in Dec-2015. In Asia Pacific, Bangkok Don Mueang delivered the highest growth rate +40.6% for the year driven by both strong domestic and international travels. Other major airports in the region generated sizeable growth include Kansai +19.9% and Busan +19.6%. The Middle East led all other regions in passenger traffic growth rates, with major hubs all reported double digit growth for the year: Dubai +10.7%, Doha +17.1% and Abu Dhabi +17.3%.
