ANA to launch first long-haul B787 service to Europe with Frankfurt service from 21-Jan-2012

All Nippon Airways (ANA) stated (05-Oct-2011) it would commence the first long-haul international route to Europe using 158-seat B787-8 equipment (configured with 46 business and 112 economy seats) on 21-Jan-2012 with the launch of Tokyo Haneda-Frankfurt service. The B787 will initially be deployed on the route with three times weekly frequency, increasing to daily from 01-Feb-2012. The new route will complement ANA's four existing European services from Narita to Frankfurt, Munich, London and Paris. [more - original PR]
