American Airlines: US airlines dealing with ‘entirely different’ environment compared to past

American Airlines CEO Doug Parker, speaking at the CAPA Aviation Summit 2016, stated (12-Apr-2016) the US airline industry is now dealing with an "entirely different" environment, compared to the period which didn't allow or even encourage innovation amongst the seven network airlines. He said the product is now what matters most.
