Parker Hannifin Corp (Parker) was established in 1918 and is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Parker is a leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision-engineered solutions for a wide variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets. From an aviation perspective, Parker is involved in a number of specialised areas, through its Parker Aerospace Group. Parker's systems are used on commercial and military fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, in addition to missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. The group operates facilities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Business units include:

Since 2013, Parker has also been partnering with Airbus to develop a multi-function fuel cell system which will replace the need for an aircraft's auxiliary power unit (APU).

In May-2022, Kaman Corporation entered a definitive agreement to acquire Parker-Hannifin Corporation's aircraft wheel and brake division for USD440 million. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2022.
