American Airlines partners with US TSA and UK DfT to launch new security process at London Heathrow
American Airlines partnered (19-Feb-2025) with the US TSA and the UK Department for Transport (DfT) to launch a pilot programme enabling customers travelling from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to connect to international (non-UK) destinations through London Heathrow Airport. The One Stop Security (OSS) programme allows passengers connecting in Terminals 3 or 5 at London Heathrow to bypass going through the security screening process a second time, simplifying the connection process and reducing mishandled bags.
