All Nippon Airways seeking all four US flights from Tokyo Haneda

All Nippon Airways (ANA) requested the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to grant it all four daily slots for US-bound flights from Tokyo Haneda Airport, available when the airport's fourth runway opens in late Oct-2010 (Kyodo, 19-May-2010). ANA stated allowing Japan Airlines, which is undergoing restructuring with the assistance of the Government, to open new routes "will distort the competitive environment".
