Alitalia confirms resignation of CEO

Alitalia confirmed (25-Feb-2013) the resignation of CEO and MD Andrea Ragnetti. The airline said Mr Ragnetti and the board of directors mutually agreed to terminate their relationship. Alitalia chairman Roberto Colaninno was granted interim power of CEO and will be assisted by VPs Elio Catania and Salvatore Mancuso to appoint a new CEO. [more - original PR]
