Aircalin CCO: A350 to enable no load restrictions on Paris service
Aircalin chief commercial officer (CCO) William Le Grand, speaking at Routes Asia 2025, stated (25-Mar-2025) the carrier expects delivery of its first A350 in late 2026 or early 2027, subject to Airbus' delivery schedule. He said the aircraft will enable "no restrictions" on loads for services to Paris.
Background ✨
Aircalin ordered two A350-900 aircraft to support its long haul network, planning to configure them in a three-class premium layout with over 320 seats1. The Noumea-Bangkok-Paris service faced challenges maintaining a twice-weekly frequency, prompting plans to add a third frequency in late 20252. Aircalin aimed to launch a Noumea-Paris CDG service from 2026, collaborating with Airbus and other manufacturers for long haul fleet adjustments3.
