Airbus looks likely to join Qantas in Rolls-Royce engine action

Airbus looks likely to join Qantas in taking legal action against Rolls-Royce for damages arising from a mid-air engine explosion involving an A380 in Nov-2010 (The Age, 02-Feb-2010). Airbus has not become a party to the case but the European manufacturer has filed two affidavits and been granted leave by the Australian Federal Court.
