Rolls-Royce plc is a global business providing integrated power systems for use on land, at sea and in the air. Rolls-Royce was nationalised in 1971. The automobile company was separated in 1973 and the present Rolls-Royce plc was re-privatised in 1987. Rolls-Royce plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index. Its civilian product range includes:

  • Large aircraft engines: Trent XWB, Trent 1000, Trent 900, Trent 800, Trent 700, Trent 500, RB211-524, RB211-535, International Aero Engines V2500;
  • Small aircraft engines: AE 2100, AE 3007, BR700, BR725, Tay, FJ44, RR500 turboprop, M250 turboprop;
  • Helicopter engines: M250 Turboshaft, RR300, RR500 Turboshaft, T800.
