Airbus delivers just ten A380s in 2009

Airbus confirmed it delivered just ten A380s in 2009, two less than in 2008, after initially forecasting up to 21 A380s would be delivered this year (Bloomberg, 30-Dec-2009). The manufacturer made downwards revisions to its A380 delivery forecast for the year four times. It plans to deliver "about 20" A380s in 2010, with a firm target to be announced in mid-Jan-2010. Air France, Qantas and Emirates are scheduled to receive more A380s in early 2010.
