Air Vanuatu appoints new CEO

Air Vanuatu appointed (27-Jun-2018) Derek Nice as CEO. Outgoing CEO Joseph Laloyer is leaving Air Vanuatu after eight years. In his time as CEO, Mr Laloyer oversaw the addition of one Twin Otter, two new ATR aircraft and the new Boeing 737-800 to the carrier's fleet, as well as the re-registration of IOSA and the resumption of a codeshare partnership with Qantas. Mr Laloyer and Mr Nice will work together during a handover period to ensure continuity. Mr Laloyer will also act in the role as GM airports until a permanent appointment is made. [more - original PR]
