Air Serbia resumed twice weekly Belgrade-Toronto services with A330-200 equipment, restoring a Serbia-Canada air link for the first time in more than 30 years, alongside its New York and Chicago long haul routes1. Air Serbia previously outlined Toronto as part of a wider 2026 international route launch programme2, and CEO Jiri Marek indicated it considered extending the seasonal Toronto operation into winter3. WestJet also broadened its European partnerships via a reciprocal codeshare with SAS, including placing its code on SAS' year round Copenhagen-Toronto service4.
