Air New Zealand passenger numbers up 2.3% - traffic highlights in Jun-2011:

- Domestic: 693,000, +1.2%;
- Tasman/Pacific: 240,000, +12.7%;
- Long-haul: 122,000, -8.7%;
- Asia/Japan/UK: 47,000, -7.7%;
- North America/UK: 75,000, -9.3%;
- Short-haul: 934,000, +3.9%;
- Passenger load factor: 84.3%, +1.6 ppts;
- Short-haul: 83.8%, +2.7 ppts;
- Domestic: 80.7%, stable;
- Tasman/Pacific: 85.5%, +4.3 ppts;
- Long-haul: 84.6%, +0.7 ppt;
- Asia/Japan/UK: 78.6%, -0.5 ppt;

Air New Zealand: "Group-wide yields for the financial year to date were up 2.0% on the same period last year. Compared to last June, year to date short-haul yields were down 1.7% partly due to the new seats to suit product. Long-haul yields were up by 4.3%.
