Air New Zealand passenger numbers up 2.0% - traffic highlights for May-2012:

- Passenger load factor: 79.7%, +1.2 ppts;
- Short-haul: 80.8%, +1.8 ppts;
- Domestic: 78.9%, -0.1 ppt;
- Tasman/Pacific: 81.9%, +3.0 ppts;
- Long-haul: 78.9%, +0.8 ppt;
- Asia/Japan/UK: 73.3%, +0.1 ppt;

Air New Zealand: "Group-wide yields for the financial year to date were up 3.2% on the same period last year. Compared to May-2011, year to date Short Haul yields were up 1.1%.
