Air New Zealand passenger numbers stable – traffic highlights for Nov-2012:

    • Short-haul: 933,000, -0.2%;
    • Domestic: 703,000, -0.1%;
    • Tasman/Pacific: 230,000, -0.3%;
    • Long-haul: 112,000, +2.7%;
    • Asia/Japan/UK: 47,000, +0.2%;
    • North America/UK: 65,000, +4.6%;
  • Passenger load factor: 81.4%, -0.1 ppt;
    • Short-haul: 83.2%, -2.8 ppts;
    • Domestic: 81.2%, -1.5 ppts;
    • Tasman/Pacific: 84.4%, -3.5 ppts;
    • Long-haul: 79.9%, +2.2 ppts;
    • Asia/Japan/UK: 79.4%, +2.4 ppts;

Air New Zealand: “Group-wide yields for the financial year to date were down 1.4% on the same period last year. Short Haul yields were down 3.6% reflecting price reductions to stimulate demand, while Long Haul yields were up 2.0%.
