Air Mauritius to operate Mauritius-Paris and Mauritius-Reunion during Oct-2020

Air Mauritius announced (28-Sep-2020) plans to open sales for twice weekly Mauritius-Paris Charles de Gaulle and weekly Mauritius-Reunion services in Oct-2020, following Mauritius' Government's plans to open borders to Mauritian nationals, residents and to tourists travelling for long stays. All prospective passengers travelling to Mauritius for the month of October 2020 must possess the following documents:

  • A certificate of a negative PCR test administered not more than seven days prior to the date of embarkation;
  • A valid air ticket to Mauritius;
  • A proof of purchase of a travel package including accommodation, on full board basis, at a designated hotel for a mandatory 14 day in-room quarantine;
  • Any arriving passenger will have to undergo PCR tests on day of arrival, on day seven and on day 14 following arrival;
  • If a PCR test reveals that a person positive to coronavirus, the passenger will be transferred to a public medical institution for treatment;
  • Masks are mandatory from the time the passenger reaches the airport of departure to the time they leave Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. [more - original PR]
