About
Réunion is a French island located in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar and south west of Mauritius. There are two airports on the island, both of which have paved runways. The main airport is the international Roland Garros Airport (RUN) located close to Saint-Denis in the north and the second is the Aéroport de Pierrefond (ZSE), located near Saint-Pierre in the south of the island. Some of the airlines that service these airports are Air Austral, Air Madagascar as well as Corsairfly and Air Mauritius. The Directorate General for Civil Aviation is the French body responsible for aviation matters in Réunion Island.
