Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is located 48km southeast of Mauritius’ capital Port Louis, and is the country’s major airport and hub for flag carrier Air Mauritius. The airport is owned and operated by Airports of Mauritius Co Ltd, of which the government of Mauritius is the major shareholder. The airport receives services from destinations throughout Africa, the Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.
