Air Canada reported (14-Aug-2019) it expects to begin taking delivery of A220-300 aircraft later in 2019. The 137 seat A220-300 aircraft will feature a two class cabin, with 12 seats in a 2-2 configuration in business class and 125 seats in a 3-2 configuration in economy. Additional features will include a Panasonic eX1 in flight entertainment system at every seat, high speed connectivity and LED lighting, as well as Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1500G engines which are expected to produce a 20% reduction in fuel consumption per seat and NOx emissions 50% below CAEP/6 standards.
