Air Antwerp secures AOC, to commence commercial operations on 09-Sep-2019

Air Antwerp secured (09-Aug-2019) an AOC and operating licence from the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority. The carrier plans to commence commercial operations with the launch of 16 times weekly Antwerp-London City service with Fokker 50 equipment, effective 09-Sep-2019. Air Antwerp CEO Johan Maertens said the launch of the carrier is "good news" for the Antwerp business segment, in particular the diamond industry and Antwerp port community.
