Abu Dhabi Airport to handle 40 million passengers by 2030

UAE's Abu Dhabi International Airport announced its USD6.8 billion redevelopment plan is on track with the airport's final project due for completion in 2030 (Gulf News, 05-Sep-2010). When the redevelopment is completed in 2030, the airport's handling capacity will increase to 40 million passengers a year. Project work includes the construction of a new midfield terminal and a new air traffic control tower.
