AAPA pax numbers up 5% to 123.5m in 1H2014, cargo traffic up 5%

Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) reports (24-Jul-2014) the following international traffic highlights for its member airlines:

  • Jun-2014:
    • Passenger numbers: 20.6 million, +2.1% year-on-year;
    • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +2.5%;
    • Capacity (ASKs): +5.3%;
    • Passenger load factor: 77.7%, -2.1 ppts;
    • Cargo traffic (FTKs): +4.7%;
    • Cargo load factor: 66.1%, +0.8 ppt;
  • Six months ended Jun-2014:
    • Passenger numbers: 123.5 million, +4.9%;
    • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +4.8%;
    • Capacity (ASKs): +6.4%;
    • Passenger load factor: 76.7%, -1.1 ppts;
    • Cargo traffic (FTKs): +4.6%;
