TAP's first A321LR makes its maiden flight today

This new Airbus model is TAP's first narrow body aircraft capable of operating transatlantic routes, offering the premium comfort of a long-haul aircraft. There are 16 seats in executive, with four of these individual, and if offers more space in economy - the equivalent of that available on the Airbus A330neo.

This Airbus A321LR, which is the first of 14 of this model ordered from Airbus, can carry up to 168 passengers. Along with the Airbus A330neo, this aircraft allows us strengthen our medium- and long-haul services. TAP is the first airline in the world to operate both the Airbus A330neo and the Airbus A321 Long Range.

The company is to receive a total of 37 new aircraft this year, and 71 by 2025, when it will have one of the most modern fleets in the world. This fleet renewal and expansion has enabled TAP to announce more flights and new destinations.

O primeiro Airbus A321 Long Range, CS - TXA, iniciou hoje os seus voos comerciais, tendo tido como primeiro destino Praga.

Este novo modelo da Airbus é o primeiro avião narrow body da TAP com capacidade para operar rotas transatlânticos, oferecendo o conforto premium de um avião do longo curso. Tem 16 assentos em executiva, sendo que quatro são individuais, e oferece mais espaço em económica, equivalente ao disponível no Airbus A330neo.

O Airbus A321LR é o primeiro de 14 aviões deste modelo encomendados à Airbus e pode transportar até 168 passageiros. Permite reforçar a operação do médio e longo curso da TAP, em combinação com o Airbus A330neo. A TAP é mesmo a primeira companhia aérea do mundo a operar em simultâneo o Airbus A330neo e o Airbus A321 Long Range.

A Companhia receberá um total 37 novos aviões este ano e 71 até 2025, ficando assim com uma das frotas mais modernas do mundo. Esta renovação e crescimento da frota tem permitido à TAP anunciar novos destinos e mais frequências.
