Ryanair announce suspension of Italian domestic flights from 23-Jan-2010
Ryanair announced (23-Dec-2009) plans to temporarily cease operating domestic routes to/from its 10 Italian bases Alghero, Bari, , Bologna, Brindisi, Cagliari, Milan (Bergamo), Pescara, Pisa, Rome (Ciampino), and Trapani with effect from 23-Jan-2010, following the lifting of Ryanair’s injunction against ENAC Ordinanzas (Ref No. 26/2009 and 79320/DIRGEN/DG) which require Ryanair to accept various unsecure forms of ID for passengers travelling on Ryanair’s Italian domestic flights, even if these ID’s comprise nothing more than fishing licences.
