FBB - Clear commitment to SXF: Ryanair triples Berlin traffic
05-mar-2015 The airport company welcomes the decision by Ryanair to open a new base in Berlin on 27 October 2015. With the commencement of the winter flight schedule, the Irish airline will serve 16 new routes from Berlin Schönefeld, thus increasing the airline's commitment to a total of 22 destinations.
Hartmut Mehdorn, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: "Ryanair's decision is a clear commitment to Berlin as a business location. With this commitment, the airline is tripling its presence at Berlin Schönefeld, beginning with the 2015 winter flight schedule. Not only does Schönefeld benefit from this decision, but the entire region - through new jobs, attractive new flight connections, and more tourists."
Tickets for all the new Berlin routes will be available for sale from Friday 6 March 2015.
